Brake help...
Idk if this is the right section to put this in, but here it goes
I was wondering if the brake booster & MC off a 85 1/2T will work on my 77 1/2T, other than the possibility of Metric Vs. American I don't see why there would be any difference between the working wise, just different materials / look Thanks, Matt |

I don't see why not. The front and rear brakes are the same stuff, but you will definitely run into brake line differences (metric/standard.) I'm sure this has been done before? Dunno- take this as moral support/free bump...

I have no worries on the metric vs standard, as I have the double flaring tool to build my brake lines & I have to build new ones anyway Thanks for the support lol |

The newer master cyl might have the GM 'quick take-up' design vs. the old unit. I'm not sure if there would be a variance in the prop valve to accommodate this so I would use the later prop valve as well.
