59 panel truck ? on alot of stuff

59 3/4 ton with w 9600GVW weight rating pacific body on it. straight frame naturally

manualy steering is shot... box manly.. planing on going to power steering... i saw borthers swap/upgrade and read what they did. any one got some pointers? or did brother cover majority of it?

brakes the previos owner re-did 3 out of 4 wheel cylinders and new master cylinder. it has what looks like a bastardized vacuum boost over hyd setup on the the pass side. it does lock up all 4 wheel on med- heavy pedal pressure... i want to convert to dual chamber MC for saftey reasons and convert to hydroboost so i can keep my manual tranny.....

it also has an eaton rear end... are there any code on the housing to dipic gears and dif setup?
i also heard the gm 14bolt brake hubs, carrier and axle shaft will fit inside? i would like to put soem dually drums on the back.. (13x3" brake shoes vs the 13x2" shoes.

leave springs... were can i get new eye bushings?

thanks adam

Do you plan on clipping the front end with IFS?

brakes the previos owner re-did 3 out of 4 wheel cylinders and new master cylinder. it has what looks like a bastardized vacuum boost over hyd setup on the the pass side. it does lock up all 4 wheel on med- heavy pedal pressure... i want to convert to dual chamber MC for saftey reasons and convert to hydroboost so i can keep my manual tranny.....

Do the brakes 1st IMO. Better to be able stop than go and crash.

it also has an eaton rear end... are there any code on the housing to dipic gears and dif setup?
i also heard the gm 14bolt brake hubs, carrier and axle shaft will fit inside? i would like to put soem dually drums on the back.. (13x3" brake shoes vs the 13x2" shoes.

Dunno, should be a tag on the pumpkin though.

leave springs... were can i get new eye bushings?

Already answered

thanks adam

put it back to work.. 454/sm465 is most likely going in the truck. got to do something about the 5.13 gears out back might update to a 10.5" 14bolt corpate axle with 4.10 gears. not that antyhing is wrong with the eaton that is in there.
when money promits ZF650 6 speed tranny

thing already on the to do list
electric wiper conversion
dual master cyl conversion with update hydroboost at a later date
power steering... gut feeling say i have a 1/2 manual steering box
get the pass door worrking and long with the driver side door rebuild the frames.
update tie rods ends
front wheel bearings? dont know if they are ball bearings/ roller bearing or tapered bearings but i can hear them when it was ona lift saturday.
75% of hte grease zerts wont take grease

the A pillar is ginda gone on the truck pass side the is the biggest rust spots.
