Bad Luck Today!!!

Had some real bad luck today, crashed my truck about 3:30 PM.It was raining and the temp had been dropping all day,it was 35 when I wrecked.I was on the Main 2 Lane Highway that has a little bit of a curve to it before you reach a bridge. The ass end of my truck started around to right and there was an tractor & trailer truck coming in the other lane,so I counter steered and spun around hit the concrete bridge with the drivers front and then it spoon on around and hit the drivers bedside in the rear.I was going about 45-50 mph,it sure done a number on my truck.Im just glad I hit the bridge instead of the truck.I'll post some pics later.

Re: Bad Luck Today!!!

Im just really sore, especiailly my back.I had a back surgery in 2005 where they done a fusion with Tiataniam rods and screws. So I went to the ER and had a Xray to may sure nothing had come loose. The truck is fixable, all sheet metel on the front end, grille, front and rear bumper, passenger door, drivers bed side, taillight, and will have to pull the frame horns back over.A friend of mine has a frame machice,so that will help alot.Just take a while to get it back together.

Re: Bad Luck Today!!!

Sorry to hear about the truck. You nees to soak in a hot tub after an accident to keep from getting sore. It'll make a big difference the next morning.

Re: Bad Luck Today!!!

Finally got the pics loaded up.It did have the bumper and fender pushed back against the tire but I pulled It out to see if I could steer it but where it bent the frame horn over at the steering box it broke the steering couplier rag joint.
