That POS
Well I took the truck for a drive for the first time in 6 months when I bought it. The engine is running pretty good now but now the tranny dont want to shift. If did it the last time I drove it, I hope hoping for better news then what I think it may be

If you can shift it manually, then first thing to check is the line to the vacuum modulator.

did you check fluid level once it warmed up?

when trying to shift manually... you need to rev it a bit higher than where you think it *should* shift... then pop the shifter in 2nd.

the burb is sittin on the curb for now... too much salt on the streets.

I added some more fluid it was little low tried the manual shift even up high then I thought it should and still nothing...looks like a trip to the tranny shop when I get back

Another thing to look at... if it is a TH350, is the kickdown cable stuck in the fully pulled out position?
