I think the only difference is ac or non-ac. Does your truck have ac? Does it work?

Re: 69-72 under Dash harness

my Truck does not have ac.There is a difference in the two harness, there is a harness for warning lights and a harness for gauges I have warning lights now and my harness is ok,but I want to put the factory gauges and the right harness.so I want to know what to look for on a gauges harness so I can identity it is the right one.

Re: 69-72 under Dash harness

I belive the only differences are either unused connections AND the different locations for the wires on the cluster plug. Things like the oil pressure sending unit - if you go to guages, it's not used as it's hard plumbed in.
Check the FAQs for the diagrams (latest one I saw also has the guage plug setup label at the top of it). They are for a V8 but very close to the 6 cylinder setup. I just redid my entire harness and posted some info on here in the past 3 weeks or so.
