After 5 hours of driving...
I'm finally an owner of a 67-72 again. I went out and picked up my trailer which is an hour south, drove an hour north back to my house. Got the guys number, cued up the guys address via turn-by-turn which is built into my silverado. Made it there in an hour and a half. The trailer turned out to be not up to par which hauling the truck. Managed to get it on there anyway. Coming home from Topeka, the weather was so crappy and the crosswinds were horrible on I70, the truck was a little squirrely at points.
In the end this is what I got for $450. 1970 C10 350 / TH350 Solid bed and floor, only needs rockers and door skins. Runs and drives decently. I think I walked with a good deal. Planning on parking my 07 in the garage for a while and giving it a break and daily driving the 70.
