Question Truck Rallly Wheel Size?

I noticed most of the GM truck rally wheel sizes are 15x8"...how unusual are the 15x9" rally wheels?

I've only heard of 15x8" and 15x10" truck and Corvette ralleys.

Re: Truck Rallly Wheel Size?

Maybe I will have to double check them. I bought these at a Corvette Show in Chicago about six years ago and they were advertised as "rare" 15x9" truck rallys. They are on the truck at this time but I will be buying new tires soon so at that time I will check them out. The dish look deeper than what I normally see but that may just be my eyes playing trucks. Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Truck Rallly Wheel Size?

Factory truck ralleys were only available up to 8" as far as I was aware.I have seen 7" and 6.5" and I had thought a few years of Vans had a 5" version but wont stand behind that 100%.

Re: Truck Rallly Wheel Size?

The factory used two sizes,7" & 8",measured between the beads. You see alot of guys that measure the extreme outer dimension which is incorrect.

Re: Truck Rallly Wheel Size?

if you are measuring it from the outside lip to outside lip they will come in at 9" but they are 15X8

Re: Truck Rallly Wheel Size?

Thanks for the info...so I guess 9" rally's would be rare? With this said I have 15x8 wheels. Mystery solved.
