The tube size on the axle is different between 1/2 and 3/4.

can you buy cab mounts? If so where? the riveted on bracket that conects to the frame.

here ya go. from what i can tell, the welded one is unfortunly the driver side. it would work fine to mount a shock too, but if your going for a show truck i dont think it will ever look perfect. some grinding on the welds would make it pass for nice driver i think. anyways, here are the pics
