Re: Tow vehicle? lol
All I have to say is "WHY?" If they want a truck why dont they buy one? This sitting cars up on wheels big then any semi has on it is crazy. There was one of those here...and 86 monte ss sitting all high and they made a turn real sharp and fast... it flipped over and killed 2 people in the car. I think its the stupidest things I have ever seen...not to mention that they are unsafe.

Re: Tow vehicle? lol
Over the years, there has been some truly distastefull trends in automobiles, and I'm pretty open-minded. To each their own. But this one HAS to stop.

Re: Tow vehicle? lol
I don't usually respond when my reply would be negative, but these things are rediculous! That is a lowrider compared to most dorks--opps---donks, but still severely distasteful as dieselarmy13 stated. Not a good trend.

Quit talking with puke in your mouth, both are unsightly.

Ok I don't get the trend either. I don't like the high rider cars. One question though...What does "DONK" stand for?

Re: Tow vehicle? lol
In my line of work, I deal with all walks of life, and routinely harrass lovers of the donk, box, and bubble (also the name of a really crappy mag that endorses this kind of behavior). This is what I have learned(This must be said in a Steve Irwin voice):
The donk, as said in the urban dictionary, is a 70's era Impalla, called a donk, or donkey, because of the dear emblem. The box is a 80's caprice, you know, the one mom had that you hated, named for their boxier body. And finally, the bubble is a 90's era caprice or Impalla SS. To be considered a "donk, box, or bubble", they must be shed with at least stupid-sized wheel, preferably of a real gaudy, chromed-out design, multiple layers of 'make-me-puke' paint colors. Bonus points are given for an equally vomit-inducing interior. Every now and then, Monte Carlo's, Cutlass's, and the like are snuck into this group. It is said that to be a 'true' donk, box or bubble, it must be a Chevy, but the less inferior members of the Ford tribe have been spotted mingling in this elusive group, so as long as their 'shoes', or rims, in leymans talk is of equal or higher value.

That is funny K....reminds me of my sister's latest boyfriend. He had never ventured out of the city til he got a job out our way. Called her one day freaking out because there was an enormous 'beast' in the middle of the road...........it was a cow

Re: Tow vehicle? lol
i like this defanition..........
Any POS late 80's or early 90's American heap (preferably an Impala) that has large enough wheels installed until it resembles (and rides and handles like) a Conestoga wagon. This is done so it sits up high enough so as to be at the same eye level as the Playas with real juice ridin in their Escalades. Adding in a bad candy paint job and Wal-Mart sub box completes the transformation. With no money left over for necessary suspension and brake upgrades, the lifespan is limited to a few drug runs or the first Police chase, whichever occurs first. |
