Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
hey i kinda like it. i guess im just weird but somebody put some hard work into these vehicles no matter how weird they may seem to some, obviously the owner or builder like them.

Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
Looks like the cab was adjusted to make it looked more raked. Someone's impressed it has a spot on the floor with some cool looking rides. Looks like he's got more time and money invested in it than mine.

Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
The cab with that chop would look nice on a slammed COMPLETE lwb 4-5-6 but the way it sits it looks like a dick tracy go-kart on roids. To me at least...

Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
Talk about dumb! The worst part is that this abortion took real effort. Think that exhaust is loud? Poor old truck...

Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
found 2 more shots, It is in the basement of the detroit autorama.
Cool thing about the basement, is there are 3 60-66 trucks down there... this one, the pink freak, and an orangs 60 that I have only seen in background shots....Viva la 60-66! (and that is the longest radiator hose ever.) you know if this thing had some big paddle tires on the back it might make a cool tractor puller. Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
Yikes!! The cab is kind of cool but these trucks are just to big and messy to run an open front end. That radiator is just nasty, at least the EBAY truck had it moved to the rear..

Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
guh, just threw up in my mouth a bit. I know "to each, his own" but I feel that if your going to put that much time and effort into a vehicle, atleast make it functional.

Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
And these rat rod guys wonder why the cops hassle them so much. If that thing pulled up next to me on the freeway, I'm jumping the median.

Re: another mess... (not for the faint of heart)
Some one with better vision might have been able to turn this into a neat show rod. Ditch everything but the cab and start over. They used to build t-buckets with a rake to the body and I think they looked kinda cool.
Kinda like this famous hot rod...Uncertain T |
