Spring cleaning... the beast at work!!

I loaded down my trailer and truck today with some old junk 64-66 trucks I've stripped. I tried to squeeze everything on so I could make one trip. I got it all on, but man it's heavy!! I had to cut the back of the frame off to get it all on there. There's two cabs, a frame with cab & front cap, motor, 2 transmissions, extra front and rear end, 4 fenders, 4 doors, hood, 3 tailgates, and the cabs are stuffed with misc. body parts. All that weight and I still can't make the K20 squat! Maybe the $$ I get for scrap will cover the fuel bill.

So that's what a scrap cab looks like in Alabama-huh? Up here in the soggy N.W. those would be an absolute treasure to find. Oh well, it's a shame they got crushed, but that's water under the bridge now!

Re: Spring cleaning... the beast at work!!

ark - scrap brought $8 per 100lb. If you listened real close, you could hear the K20 whispering "I think I can...I think I can..." going up some of the steep hills!!.
