GMC got new motor this weekend
~5yrs ago, I got mad, and built a big motor for my 67 camaro.
~440hp, very solid motor, revs fast and high. spent WAY too much money in it. fast forward to couple weeks ago, my mom's house burnt, hence my fully restored 63 nova, that was in her garage, no is homeless (luckily fire didn't get it). Time to reduce car inventory by 1. Can't sell camaro with motor, too much $, will never get that $ back out, so why not swap motors with GMC. GMC now has a built up 357 (.040 over), and camaro is getting the stocker mid 70's, 350. The glasspacks it had before were loud, I found out it only gets louder. Neighbor 4 houses down came by to see what the noise was when it fired up. Yikes, time for new exhaust. So now i have an old rusty 70gmc stepside, which I noticed has more rust than solid metal over the weekend, and a torn apart 67 camaro, that needs to be put back and sold. By next week, should have all the neighbors hating me and my truck also.
