tire size vs rake, sportsman s/r radials
ok so i already bought my rear tires they are the mickey thompson sportsman s/r radials 29x18x20. i will have a 20x15 rear wheel, but i dont know what tire size to put up front to make it look proper. i want to do 18" wheels up front. probably an 18x8 or 18x10. below is my tire size options. im just not sure what will give it the best look, i dont want to much rake either. any pictures of a similar tire size package would be helpful. just let me know what you guys think
26X6.00R18LT 26X8.00R18LT 26X10.00R18LT 26X12.00R18LT 28X10.00R18LT 28X12.00R18LT |

Re: tire size vs rake, sportsman s/r radials
I would eliminate the 28s, since these tire sizes would give you more tire sidewall as compared to what's in the rear. Proportionally, the 26s would work... probably the 26X10.00R18LT on a 8"-9" wide wheel. In the end, you're end up with a 3" stagger between the fronts and rears. You're 'bably going to have to drop the rear a bit more to make the front look good without imposing a rake. Those rear meats should look .

Re: tire size vs rake, sportsman s/r radials
thats kinda the tire size i was thinking to. the 10" wide should give some good grip on the road as well. i will have 4 link and coilovers in the rear so lowering a bit more is no problem, im thinking around a 5/7 drop should look real good
