Got an 08 Silverado

Actually my wife did ! I was in Portland hanging out with my boy, watching his Lacrosse clinics and while I was gone the 94 Volvo got traded for this.

She kept me in contact the whole way so it was not a surprise .
I'll get some better pictures later. Now I have to decide rather to keep my truck and turn it into my project or sell it and buy a "muscle car project"
Tough call !

Re: Got an 08 Silverado

Yep 4.3, not sure what size tires/wheels ? It was such a good deal we can live with rubber floor matts and roll up windows. For a plain jane it does have some nice features CD, fold down center console, Onstar.
I have yet to drive it, was tired of driving yesterday . I'll drive it to work tomorrow. Needs dropped real bad maybe 6" ? That Zero % interest makes for some pretty low payments !

A 4.3L W/T reg cab shortbed.... I bet you got that sucker REAL cheap!!! I wish I didn't have the need for an ext. cab, I'd much prefer a reg cab truck.

Looks great! That's my favorite "new" GM truck color.

Re: Got an 08 Silverado

That looks like the same color as my neighbors. I sure like the blacked out grill and bumpers on yours much better than the chrome on his.

Neighbor across the alley also has a work truck with the chrome front parked facing our house and I swear that thing is gonna blind me.

Nice. I like that color.

Yeah, I figure the deal will start getting goo again as the gas prices keep rising.

Not yet still looking at options... Seems as if its spendy to lower this puppy!
I could do it myself but then I'd have to tow it to an alignment shop.
Not sure its worth it ? Might just pay the big bucks at the dealer to have it done then if something goes wacky its not on me . Not to mention my shop is not done yet
If I sell the 70 I'll do it for sure. If I don't it will have to wait just do to the building and such going on around the house.

I am daydreaming about Vette style rallyes in 17" with cop caps and no trim rings don't know if they fit these years ?
