gentleman jim option
I have been looking for a gentleman jim for a while and I have finally found one. The guy said it has the gold wheels, tach, and buckets with the console. I have not looked at the truck.
How can you tell if it is original? I know this truck is the real thing, but I was wondering if it will have the gentleman jim option listed on the SPID? Would someone with one of these trucks tell what is listed on the SPID? I would appreciate the help. I want to look at it this weekend. |

Re: gentleman jim option
Look for option code 9A5 GMC Promotional Pack. I have or have pictures of at least 5 different Gentleman Jim SPIDs. With the exception of California Emissions and some variations in how they describe the paint, they are all the same. I'll dig up a picture.

Re: gentleman jim option
Thanks for all of the info. I knew it must have had a special option listed. I will be looking for the picture of the spid.

Re: gentleman jim option
El Gracho if you have a chance, I would like to see some pics of those SPIDs. I never got the time to look at the truck, but the guy still has it. It is about 120 miles from me, and I want to know all details about them before I check it out.

Here's one from a truck that was on Ebay.
