Found parts Blazer in Arizona
I am trying to see if there would be a way to get this Blazer back to my shop. The add says rust free with a dammage right rear quarter. It looks like there would be a few nice parts to have reproduced that are currently not being done. (Mainly windsheild frame, and lower quarter supports. Like I said, I am just trying to figure out if there would be a way to get it here to my shop to dismantle and develope the parts. I figure that because Blazer guys will benifate with the eventual availability of the parts that you might be willing to jump in and help get it up to me. If I have to pay a bunch of money to truck it, it would become to expencive for me, because I would not get the exclusive on the windsheild frame. Anyone have any thoughts on this? WES

Re: Found parts Blazer in Arizona
Maybe - we can all pitch in a bit to cover the shipping for it to get to you - then you could give us a great discount when we order the parts that we made possible?
Just a thought... |

Re: Found parts Blazer in Arizona
I would give a discount to anyone who helped to get it up here. I would rather it not be cash out of anyones pocket though. I just don't like putting people out like that. I haven't even looked into the cost of trucking it. I was thinking something like a chain of guys that could get it up here, or if anyone was going to make a trip up here to visit family or something, I could chip in a few bucks to help pay for their gas. Anyway I am looking for some ideas and yours is one that could work. WES

Re: Found parts Blazer in Arizona
Happy to help out in any way that I can (over here in Ohio).
I think if I had easier access to these rust free trucks - I would have my yard/garage full of them... Maybe it is best that I live in Ohio - |

Re: Found parts Blazer in Arizona
Here's an article I read a few years ago that gives the price range of 900 to 1500. I'm blazer might not be as much seeing as how it's not nearly as this Jeep in this article.

Re: Found parts Blazer in Arizona
The price of the Blazer pretty much negates much shipping cost. 200.00 300.00 max to make it economical enough to do. It probably won't work out but it was a thought anyway. I will just have to keep looking closer to home. WES

Re: Found parts Blazer in Arizona
Sorry Wes - anytime I look for a Blazer/Truck - I have one (of two options for) automatic add on to the price -
Shipping (from out West) or body shop work - shipping is always cheaper and there is no extra costs once it starts to ship (unlike body shop work)... |

Re: Found parts Blazer in Arizona
Ya, It was a long shot at best. I just figured that more people with rusty winshield frames, and lower quarter supports might chime in. I get a lot of people calling me for them. WES
