If you look at slamspecialties.com, they have a listing of all the bags tech specs.

Re: air ride suspension travel

I believe firestone has them listed online as well. All the companies for that matter have them listed either on their site or other places online, each bag is different with amount of travel allowed.

I'd say generally itd be around 7 or so as middle ground inches for travel from when its full to dumped. I'd say that's a middle ground to lower end guestimate. All of them like rob said are online and you can look at the specific bag for the amount of travel you want/ need

Re: air ride suspension travel

Each air bag has a specified ride height and a different amount of lift so it really depends on your brand and model of air bags. One thing though, it is important that you install the airbags at your designated ride height because the bags are designed to ride with a certain amount of air pressure and then need to be within the specs to get a good ride out of the air bags. I am sure you knew that but just double checking.

I'm not sure the others have answered your actual question... it sounds like you're asking about vehicle-in-motion travel of the bag while aired to 'ride height.'

I'd say it's about 2" in either direction on a "normal" roadway, and slightly more (not much) when hitting bumps.

Re: air ride suspension travel

XXL- thats what i was looking for... and according to airride, he's right on... they said "normal condition" is about 1-2" and "extream" would be 4"
