WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
Looking for a good set of front rotors for a 71 C20. I think 71-87 were the same. Must be above min thickness, I will have them turned. Let me know what you have, but shipping will be high I know and might not be worth it but let me know.

Re: WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
you do know you can get them at any parts store, right?
Might want to double check on the years that work... I want to say they got thicker in 73, but I may well be wrong. |

Yeah - I checked at Napa and they are $180 for the pair, I can get some imports for $150 but they say they are softer iron. Just looking for options.

Re: WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
I have 2 low mileage take offs, and still have the inner bearings installed. They were on a 71 3/4T. They have just light surface rust & are dirty from setting, & are not pitted. The hubs still show signs of being new & the lugs are perfect. They've been in my garage for about 7 years. I was going to use these for my disk swap, but decided to stay with 6 lugs. Shipping would have to be in 2 boxes. If interested, let me have your zip & I'll get the ship cost. $50 for the pair + shipping.

Re: WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
Longhorn man - the 1/2 ton are a little cheaper , about 75 each from napa, but they hook you pretty good for the 3/4 ton ones.
70GMCer - Those are 5 lug rotors, I need the 8 lug for a C20, I know you said they were from a 3/4 ton, is that a conversion rotor to put 5 lug lug on a C20 ? Hmm ???

Re: WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
Don't know. You have me thinking. I remember taking them off the truck that also had the dual diagram brake booster which I am using. At the time, I didn't really know about 1/2T & 3/4T differences, & the guy told me it was a 3/4T truck. Were all 3/4T trucks 8 lug?

70GMCer, yes, they were all 8 lug. Either your PO was stupid, or it was converted from a 20 to a 10.

Re: WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
67mater - just need the rotors, I'l get rebuild calipers and stuff for the rest, my zip is 51334, maybe shipping wouldn't be to bad. (what's a bosy ? sorry had to ask)
70GMCer - when I looked at those pics again, those must be from a C10, the bearings look to be way to small to fit the C20 spindle HMM ???

I have pictures of the rotors if you send me an email address. They are both about 3cm total thickness

Re: WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
Thanks for the pics ! I may have some on a parts truck near here, but have no idea if they are any good or not, yours look turnable and useable to me, shipping likely would be high. If you don't mind, how much shipped to 51334 ?
Thanks

Re: WTB - C20 Brake rotors for 71
presuming 20lbs and UPS ground look slike $30 to ship. Say $60 shipped? Or you can meet me in the Quad Cities and I'll give them to you for $45?
