Battery cables
From the battery, where does the positive go to and where the negative?

72, the pos cable runs form battery down to starter larger hot post and neg cabe runs form battery to engine block with a bolt and bolt hole, i like to run another cable from engine block to frame rail in engine compartment and sometimes from there to fender or firewall. 3/8" bolts are great for this and 3/8" drill bit, you can get the copper crimp on 3/8" loop end connectors from auto parts stores cheap, i always use cables laying around and cut off the batt terminal end and connect copper ring end on when using them as grounding straps/paths for body to ground to engine, too much ground is impossible to have.
good luck |

I agree one can never have too many grounds. Even on my ford there is a ground strap on the hood. I dont know why maybe because fords are stupid
