My friends new (to him) '68 GMC dump bed
My friend picked up this '68 GMC 1-ton with a dump bed. I think the dump is a P O-installed unit, it looks home made, but it works good.
It's not in too bad of shape, overall. He won't ever do anything with it except use it around his farm, said he probably won't even regester it.

Nice find. Looks like it dumps to a good angle so sticky stuff will slide out. One thing to be careful of with a twin cylinder- don't load it heavier on one side, or it can twist the bed bad on the way up.

My friend has several-ah-interesting units around his farm. Mostly all home-built, that dumper will fit right in:
From when he was running a sawmill: He uses this more than you can imagine: Got to get to the top of the sleddin' hill:

Cool truck! I have one almost identical to it except mine is rougher.
BTW, I didn't know Billy Gibbons lived in Utah!!
