Pics from my vacation
Hello everyone I went on vacation last week didn't really go anywhere in particular, I just went home to visit Mom and Dad and also some of my rides. I did a little bit of work to trucks and took some random pictures.

Re: Pics from my vacation
I know 72BlckButy, it was nice to get out of the city and go home and de-stress a little bit. I went to the local pick-n-pull last monday and scored front sway bar from a '72 custom camper for 15 bucks and a pair of side emblems that came off a '67-'68 Gmc that I thought were pretty cool looking and the best part was that I got those for free Heres a pic of the emblems any idea what these would go for? Just curious not looking to start a for sell tread. The last pic is of two wheels that I picked for $20.00 at a local tire center that was looking to get rid of them.

Re: Pics from my vacation
FleetsidePaul, the auxillary gas tank doors came off a mid 80's Ford pickup truck that dad found in a wrecking yard. He didn't like the look of the stainless steel ones, so he had his painter install them on both sides. The painter just got rid of the stainless steel ones and welded the new ones in. Dad and I both know that using ford parts is wrong on the chevys but thats all we could think of to remedy the problem.

Re: Pics from my vacation
I like how you put the door on the auxillary gas tank doors on your 3/4 ton...any more info on how you did it?

Re: Pics from my vacation
Nice relaing vacation, huh?Man,I think your dad`s C/20 is one sharp truck. Those Siewinders came out nice and look awesome on it.Nice touch with the fuel doors.
Those are`67-only GMC Custom badges and bring pretty good money.Let`s say a good bit more than the more common Chevy and even GMC ones.

Re: Pics from my vacation
Number98, It consists of 2 1/2 drop spindles from ECE with 2-inch drop springs from Eibach and the rear has 4-inch drop springs from Eibach also. 4 1/2 drop on the front and 4-inch drop on the rear. I plan to lower the rear two more inches but not sure yet. Oh and it has been coverted to 5-lug suspension and disc brakes on the front- all from ECE. Thanks.
