Re: I found a DEWSIE on C-List
It's not illegal to sell a piece of paper. What the guy who buys it is normally planning to do with it IS illegal.
What would Henry Rollins do????????? wtf

Re: I found a DEWSIE on C-List
I flagged it as prohibited, b/c it IS illegal to sell those knowing what the person is going to do w/ it

Re: I found a DEWSIE on C-List
Wouldn't the titles have the vehicle vin#s on them? (thats the way it's done up here) and if so what good would a title do you if the vin#s don't match?

Its a piece of paper guys...you do what you want to with it. I don't think anyone needs to get on a soap box about it. Old titles have been bought and sold for years.

Re: I found a DEWSIE on C-List
Actually, each individual state has their own laws governing this issue. I wouldn't flag someones add without first knowing the sellers state laws. Even at that, you may have checked the state law of the seller but the title may be going to a state where the law accepts this type of sale and use.

Re: I found a DEWSIE on C-List
what about the "erotic services" section gotta love CL. and as far as the vin being on the title, when was the last time anybody compared the vin on the title to the one actually on the car. on the news a few weeks ago someone found out a car they had "owned", driven, registered, and insured was stolen 30 years ago and had to give the car back. clean title, bad vin on car.

Re: I found a DEWSIE on C-List
I am very relaxed, dude. I don't concern myself with what someone else is doing. If he gets in any trouble, it is his problem.
