ANOTHER parchment question but a GOOD one!
Thought I'd throw this out for S&Gs (and I haven't posted much of anything lately.)
I've seen those cool as heck white bench seats with the blue/black plaid in them (from the parchment interior packages I guess) - I've redone my door panels to actually match the reall nice looking "yellow" parchment visors and seatbelts. Now, I want the seat cover... A) Are they remanufactured? B) If so, can someone point me to a manufacturer? C) If not, what would I be looking at (ball park) price wise to have a one made (considering I might use a "yellow" material instead of white)?

Sounds like you're talking about the Highlander plaid. I don't think a ready made cover is available but the fabric is. It would proably cost a war pension to have one made with the correct scrolling.

I think some of the Plaid seat covers are made.I don't recall seeing the parchment though.Try some of the vendors and ask.I doubt they would try to keep parchment in stock.

So,that`s the`72 Highlander plaid. There were the four colors of plaid and all of them had parchment vinyl, door panels, etc. It was a late year promo package based on the CustomDeluxe.Try www.smsautofabric.com for the materials.

Re: ANOTHER parchment question but a GOOD one!
ok, cool - now to figure out who has the rest of the seat... minus the inserts....
From anyones experience, if someone has the cloth part of the seat all ripped up, does usually mean the rest of the cover is shot or does it hold up better? I might post a little WTB...
