5 lug changeover
I'm new and don't know much about changing things around on my 68 shortbed. Whats the best way to go to 5 lugs on the rear? someone sold me another rearend that they said came out of a truck but none of the brackets are the same and i don't see how it could work. can i swap out the axle's or should i just get a kit for that or try and find a rearend that does look like mine. mine only has the saddles that sit on th

I just installed the 5 lug axle swap kit from performance online and it was very easy. It wasn't too expensive, and was simple to install.

Go to moser axles websight. Your better off buying new axles.

Your best bet for a budget is to find an 71 72 truck and swap everything over. Which is not a hard task pretty much a bolt in.I know where everything you need is. rearend ,all the front pieces. I believe he told me 200 for everything. I thinking Danville isn't that far from me.
