had to turn around for this one

Saw this 72 c20 out in the chillies parking lot so i had to take some snapshots of it. Guy said it dynoed at 370 horses, its factory 4wd, cheyenne super, houndstooth interior, has the original engine, but has obviously been refreshed, he uses it on his farm daily he said. And has been more relable and forgiving than his other work trucks (97 gmc 2500, and a 03 ford SD). Was all around a gorgeous truck.

wow, such a nice truck on the outside, yet so crappy under the hood.

ya the pic i took didnt do it justice, the brake lines comming from the prop valve leaked on him so it blistered all his painted surfaces, and pitted the alt. hes running the edle pro flo FI system and it looked good, just needed cleaning.

Re: had to turn around for this one

I guess that'd be the difference between a 'daily driver' and a daily 'farm truck'.

One dang nice farm truck(IMHO), I'm tellin ya.

Nice truck exterior wise, but I've never seen a farm truck with bling-bling wheels and tires. Seems they would get trashed real quick around here.

Agreed, he was accross the street from a car wash so he might have just come from there. And i still doubt that his "farm truck" is actually being used on a farm. To be honest, i think this guy is a rich dude that thinks its cool to have a bunch of land and a "farm truck". Im sure he just owns a ranch around here and he uses it to get around on his "farm" and tells his "farm hands" what to do. But its still pretty.

That thing is nice except for the Prp Boys wheel opening trim and wheels.I think this rancher`s tales may tend to run a bit tall. That aint no original engine.

Good eyes, fuel injectors and center bolt valve covers. I didn't see them until I looked back at the pics. Obviously work done, I'd say an improvement.

Re: had to turn around for this one

yea, he said the top end was redone, so im guessing thats where the vortec heads came from. as for the fender trim i thought it was alright , he did have it bent so it would overlap the side trim.

Re: had to turn around for this one

I figure it`s prolly an original block and rotating assembly(minus pistons),but that ain`t an engine.
I`m not knocking it,really. The right tires and wheels are just 32 lug nuts away. So,I don`t let wheels and tires turn me off.As far as the "LMC" fender opening trim...Nah!
