Re: motor swap

V-8's and inline 6's use different motor mounts, but I am not sure which holes to use on the frame.

I am sure someone that knows will chime in.

Re: motor swap

well i have a 4x4 and just put a 350 in it and used the rear holes but i wish i would have used the front ones. it is tight to the firewall but still fits. i guess it just puts the weight to the back. i was told the front holes are for bigblocks. you should be able to get motor mounts at any good autoparts store, or online
good luck!

Re: motor swap

ok thanks i have the motor in it now and thats y i am asking and i am still useing the stright six mount in the truck also and it is a tight fit against the firewall. I had tall valve covers on it and they hit the firewall when we put the cab back on the frame.
