LMC Truck Question
Well today I purchased the front fenders and radiator support from LMC Truck. I know some of you guys have purchased from there and I was just wondering if anyone knows how long shipping takes? This was my first purchase thru them and I never saw an estimated delivery date. Thanks to all.

When I've ordered from them, it's taken about a week.

Re: LMC Truck Question
I wish we could figure out a way to charge LMC for all the free advertising they get on this site.

Re: LMC Truck Question
I stop on the way home. It's about 2 miles from here. Yes they get a lot of free advertisement but knowing where to buy stuff is half the job.

Re: LMC Truck Question
Their over the counter service is good. They have a huge warehouse. Everything I get is in stock. They don't drop ship from the factery like many of them do.

Re: LMC Truck Question
I have ordered through LMC many times, with FAST delivery and parts as expected. I have also bought parts from site supporters. While the parts were fine, the shipping time and communication were much poorer. I will do business with those who do not leave a sour taste in my mouth, not solely if they are a site supporter....

Re: LMC Truck Question
I just don't know why people want to pay more for their parts. I mean maybe the economy is only bad here in TN.
You want fast delivery....Here's Fast Delivery for you. I called Tim Christian at Christians Classics yesterday, May 20th at 4:05 pm CST to order a few parts from him. When I got home this morning, May 21st, from running some errands at 11:30am they were sitting on my porch. And combined they were about $50 cheaper then LMC. $50 that can now go to the oil companies.

Re: LMC Truck Question
I have heard people says some not so nice things about LMC, but they are the only one so far that has a catalog that can be used as a reference with great drawings.
My son and I never order from them because we have a guy that is pretty close to us that gives us good prices with quality mercandise. We like to see what I am buying. I guess because we are from the Showme state. When we are swapping parts from different trucks we use the LMC catalogs to see what parts will fit what years. If I ever need parts that I can't get from my local guy or auto parts stores I will order from a site vendor. Danny |
