Priceless carseat

$175- Britax Regent Carseat
$400- Custom Rollbar
$20- cargo ratchet straps

Being able to ride with my 5 year old boy in the Jimmy without worrying about his saftey... Priceless.

Specifics: The carseat I got online and it is a 5 point harness and car hold kids up to 80lbs. It's pretty heavy duty. The rollbar I had done locally in Boone, NC by hardcore 4 X4 and he did an awesome job. There is a bar that runs underneath the seat and connects with the bar that runs across from one side to the other. The cargo straps are 500lb test and there are 2 of them along with one of the original Latch straps holding it in. There are also 2 heavy duty wire ties running through the front part of the seat at the bottom and it will not budge.

I figure that the truck could roll a dozen times and I might be done with but at least he'll be OK.

Re: Priceless carseat

Interesting setup. Is the roll bar tied into the frame?

Re: Priceless carseat

In the back it is tied to the crossmember that runs right behind the wheels wells and in the front we made a bracket that is bolted to the frame
