Re: looky what TimE found!!
Weeellll, I did wait until the next day to tell her that. She just gave me "the look" so it wasn't too bad. The trip home wasn't too bad. I have a few things to post when I have a little more time.

Re: looky what TimE found!!
this may be a stupid question; but were those factory vehicles, or just custom?

**EDIT** Now that I look at the second set of doors it doesn't look like th truck set, less angle on the front of the window, but it is still a factory truck, unless I'm wrong about that too...

Re: looky what TimE found!!
I do not believe that any crew cab trucks from the 60's by Gm were "factory". I believe that all of them were built custom by a few select (Factory Approved) coach builders at the time. Most were for the railroad or companies needing to haul a crew of people around.
Nice find, I wish I could get one to build up as a family truckster... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=274092&page=5 look at post #107, it is literature for 3 different companies that built them.

Re: looky what TimE found!!
This appears to be same if not similar to my 3 door crew cab. Built for forestry, military or railways. Builder tag may be on the rea of cab on lower left right side. Rear window and doors were built by Stageway Coaches. Rear windows are dual pane glass and longer than the front door glass. Driverside door is skin only with functional window.
I too have the plans and the parts to make mine a 1/2 ton rig. Need to send in the 66 12 bolt rearend I got recently to have it regeard to 3:73 then add the 700r4 down the road. Can't tell in these pics of this truck but my rig has f&R hd swaybars and the trail arms are reinforced also the drive shaft is a 3 piece not 2. Keeping the longbed..... Good Luck Joe! Quote:
