Score! at least I think so
I have been searching high and low for a decent 1/2t 2wd frame. I expected to only find long beds and have to shorten one.
So today I went to the home of a guy I knew had a few 67-72's. Well he had gotten rid of all of them, I was somewhat deflated. He then said "my cousin has a bunch of them go talk to him" so I did. He had a SWB 2wd frame stripped down sand blasted and painted ready to be put together again. Its in exelent shape. He also had a short step side bed. So 600 bones and they are mine. and he said he would include anything I needed to make the frame a rolling chassis. Today was a good day. I will post pics after I go gather it up. |

As promised here is the pics. Still fresh and on the trailer.
frame has been krylon coated to prevent rust but ill sand it down and use a real chassis paint. |

Re: Score! at least I think so
How come I never get deals like that?
What's parked nest to the trailer? It kind of looks like a mid-60's Chevy, maybe a "T" model ford, and I don't know what the old sedan is?

Re: Score! at least I think so
It's gonna take a lot of bondo to fill that big dent on the driver's side fender! Oh wait, that's for the spare huh?
Great score! Jay

Re: Score! at least I think so
I know someone on here is begging for one of those spare tire fenders if you are not going to use it.

Im not going to use it, I would LOVE to trade for a NON spare fender, if thats an option. Although this one does need some body work, its not rusty. Also it does not have the braket for the spare tire to mount on. |
