What do you think about this swap
Hello:
I want a good daily driver with decent MPG which doesn't fall in it's face when needed. I really don't tow or haul heay stuff: 2002 6 cylinder with manual from chevy truck. Thanks

In my experience and from what I've heard from others, the 4.3 V6 doesn't offer very good fuel mileage. I only saw 18 or 19 with my 01 S-10 2wd V6 and was getting 15-17 in my 02 Silverado 4wd with the 4.8 V8. I believe the best you can do from a late model truck would be the LSx motors that provide decent mileage and good power.
