Dualjet 200 carb
Has anyone ever heard or used these carbs. I have a two barrel dualjet 200 and it is driving me nuts. What carbs do you guys use on a standard 350.

Ill try and give somemore info on it. It looks just like a four barrel rochester Q-j but the back two barrels have a plate that are over them. I thought I could take it off but it is actually one piece. I will try and take some pictures of it after work.

Sounds like swap meet time to me.A used aluminum intake and a Quad should run around $200.00 if you shop.A rebuild kit and then you have something members here can help you tune.

It's just like a Q-jet without the secondaries. The same tips apply. Make shure the metering rod piston is not stuck. Make shure the float is not soaked & the float level correct.

Yeah I will have to tear in an see whats going on with it. I think I might just try a swap meet or something. I just didn't know if any of you guys had even heard or even seen a carb like this.

I remember them and remember thinking that somebody got cheated on Q-Jet. I am thinking that they were a stop-gap effort at getting some gas mileage out of the mid-70's smoggers, in response to the time in our history when gasoline went up to 60-cents per gallon!!!
Didn't like them.

I found an article about this carb.
It was introduced in 1976. In 1977 it was put on a pontiac 3.1 V8 and also a 49-state Buick LeSabre. It was funny because they said it supplies good, but not excellent, mixture ratios to engines during operation. They said that it worked best during idle and right off idle. After that they said it leans out. That is just what mine has been doing. Sounds like time for a different carb.

If you want a really good 2 barrel carb, try a Holley 500cfm.
