front control arms?

I am reinstalling my front control arms. I am not sure but is there anyway to tell if the upper arms are on the right side. I have it together and the upper arms look funny on there is there any way to tell which side they are supposed to be on. I have a 1969 GMC 1/2 any help would be great thanks

Hey lumpyguy,

The upper control arms look the same on both side on my 69 GMC, although I may be wrong. Here's a few shots of each side. The 1st 2 are the Passenger Side. The 3rd and 4th are the Drivers Side. Sorry about the sun glare on D/S. Hope this helps.

They are opposite of each other. The rubber bumpstop goes toward the rear.
