lookinf gor torque strap ideas
I might put a torque strap on a b.b. 78 truck,looking for ideas and where to bolt it to,should I bolt it on the side by the header or on the front of the head

i have put them on the front of the head,,,,you going to add a band around the tail shaft of the trans to ?

in most applications you'll find a frame is most rigid in the firewall area so i've always had torque straps off the rear of the engine or the bellhousing
theres alot more flexing of the frame up by the front crossmember sort of defeating the purpose of the torque strapo//thats why on these trucks with the factory recall they installed the torque strap at the rear
