I am looking to recover my seats and i was wondering who you guys prefer.
i am looking to do this myself. wanting to find covers and wondering the best place to buy replacement covers from. pictures of what you have would be great to. thanks

Did I see a post saying that you got utility buckets? There aren't any repop covers made for the utility buckets, but they can look great (an much more unique) with some custom Upholstery.

no i dont have utility. i know where a set are that i was thinking of buying but i do not have them. as of now i dont have either kind but tuesday i plan on picking some up. the ones i am buying have the plastic backs. so if anyone wants a good pair of utility buckets let me know i can get them for about 300 if anyone in the seattle area wants them let me know i will pick them up for them.

That makes it easier. Just about every vendor carries reproduction covers (buckets and rear bench). If you don't have them already, sign up for the LMC, Truck Shop, Brothers, and Classic Parts catalogs. They can be good resources for what is available. LMC has great illustrations, although many have had issues buying from them. One of the board vendors should be able to help you out. You might check with Wes at Classicheartbeat in Olympia to see if you can avoid some shipping.

I had a great 72 Blazer CST that I redid the bucket seats on. I bought mine from Golden State Parts out here on the west coast. LMC didn't have them in stock when I was looking, and I wanted them fast. The covers were great, and they might have been a bit cheaper that every where else. Make sure you add some foam to your seats or if you feel like spending a bunch of money buy those nice new foam replacemement seat foams. Makes the seats so much more comfortable.
