WATCH OUT!!! (your truck might get girl kooties!!!)

So I had a lovely young lady I have known for a long time come down and visit the past 2 weeks. She is just totally awesome to say the least. She even fondled my truck. (its an inside joke, stemming from truck porn, you would have to see the )

She also did a tune up on it, and helped me do a ton of work on my other rigs, we ripped practically everything apart and put it back together at least once. Something tells me the truck did get girl kooties though cause the ole points ignition is screaming to be replaced with a MSD pro billet and 6AL, ok, so really I cant blame that on the girl.

She even got some battle scars from working on my Blazer. Here she is proudly displaying the carnage.

Then she tried to get my Blazer to kiss it and make it better.

Then she saw this Giant RE-MAX chevy....

and had to stop and fondle the tires...

Tires are kind of her thing, she even did all the letters on mine, and did a mighty fine job if I do say so myself.

It was a pretty dammed outstanding. In 8 weeks she and I are tearing off across the country making a road trip from Texas to Montana to get my 3 cars I still have there and the rest of my stuff. She lives in Kansas now. Trying really hard to get her to come to Texas permanent like. I have a hunch she is a keeper.

Speaking of which, on the 20th or 21 st of August, I will be heading north from Corpus Christi, TX to Manhattan KS with an Empty trailer being pulled by a 1 ton dually if anyone needs anything moved that way.

How is everyone else doing?

Lol. could be, but she did give the blazer all new spark plugs, oil, and washed out his K&N and oiled it all back up. So he should have been set for good lovin.

Re: WATCH OUT!!! (your truck might get girl kooties!!!)

Pretty sweet w/ the music and all.

Should of gotten a pic of her in the traditional pose in the 67-72. Sitting under the hood, on the inner fender swearing at the motor!

I see a long distance love affair coming on.

You can borrow a cot here in North Texas on the way any time. No luxury, but its warm or cool depending on the season. PM...

I appreciate it. It is a solid 16 hour burn from her to me. I have a funny feeling I am going to be making it more than once.

Heh, we were joking about that, except we were going to remake "Amarillo by morning" into "Corpus Christi by morning."

I guess I should be thankful or lucky? That I got my wife to help me with some problems and fixes on my 70... She layed under the truck with me and got dirty..

I love it when my wife is willing to help me.. She even helped me rebuild the motor in our boat..

Of course I started training her over 14 years ago...

Back on topic.. Yes as others have said.. she is a keeper..

Re: WATCH OUT!!! (your truck might get girl kooties!!!)

man, she looks like a keeper. like everyone else has said. haha

i know i'm sure not the oldest or wisest here. but last time i checked, you can waste 16 hours in alot worse ways. especially since this is obviousley a major source of happiness.

and i mean, think about it. thats why we're all here. working on these trucks doesn't really make sense most of the time, but it sure makes us happy. haha.

best of luck to you man.

-Sam.

Kind of funny but she and I only grew up about 160 miles apart, that is how we know each other from living back in Montana.
