Good New for Nor Cal Members
The Reno Swap Meet moves to Sacramento, Ca Sunday Aug 3rd , 2008. I'll be there...
Admission price is $6.00, which sure beats the cost of the GoodGuys. Maybe if there is a good turn out they will return next year. Or we could encourage them to have one in Sacramento aswell as Reno. http://www.renoswapmeet.com/ "We hope you will join us at the one true RENO SWAP MEET this year at Arco Arena Sacramento CA Sunday Aug 3rd , 2008 in continued celebration of our love affair with the automobile, its history and owners. We want to see you at the one true RENO SWAP MEET this year and remember, “In Rust We Trust “. We hope to return to Reno in June 2009. " By Evonne Sweeney /President Reno Swap Meet Inc. P.O. Re: Good New for Nor Cal Members
As I said in an earlier post; the guy that had the Reno swap meet for Hot August Nights, had a problem with "Hot August Nights", so he said, "Screw it" and moved his "Hot August Nights" swap meet to Arco Arena.
If I'm in error, please don't beat me up too badly!

Re: Good New for Nor Cal Members
Thanks for the info.
If I still lived in Vallejo I would go, but it is a long drive from here in Southeast Missouri and with the gasoline prices the way they are I will have to pass. Danny

Re: Good New for Nor Cal Members
I read the article in cruzin news, sounds like the organizers for Hot August Nights have forgotten where they came from and who helped them get to were they are now. To bad for Reno, great news for Central Valley.
I'll be going

Re: Good New for Nor Cal Members
Just got back and was a little ddisappointed. It was just OK. I was looking for mirrors for 71 K10, and 71 Chevelle, and looking for wheels and steering wheels for both. I left with nothing. The brighter side is that I saw a lot of nice Chevy trucks there. Was wondering if any members were among the truck owners. All in all, was well worth the $6 just to see the cars for sale. I'm hoping Reno will be better for my needs.
