My Grille

I finally got around to putting my $10 grille on my Blazer. I think it makes a world of difference.

So far I'm into the Blazer about $2500. I've never had as much fun driving wherever I go.

Re: My Grille

I went to the local pic-a-part looking for parts for one of my other cars, and there sits a 72 Chevy that's pretty beaten up. I pulled the grille and the guy wanted $25, but I pointed out the cracks in the plastic (not visible unless you really look) and he let me have it for $10.

I guess some days you just get lucky.

Re: My Grille

Did the bowtie come with the grill. If so I say you really stole it for $10.

I'm with you 100% - mine isn't much to look out but I get a ton of enjoyment out of driving it anyway!!

Re: My Grille

It came with the bowtie. The tabs that connect the inner grille to the outer grille are mostly broken, so it's held together with zip ties, but it seems to be pretty solid. I'll definitely want to replace it once the truck is painted, but in the meantime, it makes it look much more complete.

And even with the mismatched paint I still have people walking up and asking me if I'll sell it.
