1972 Pickup Factory Complete Used HVAC System

I have a complete HVAC system I recently took off of my truck. It has pretty much everything down to the electrical wiring, nuts, bolts, etc. Even has the compressor and mounting brackets. I am going for a smooth firewall and will be going with an aftermarket HVAC in my truck so I will not need any of this hardware.

I don't want to mislead anyone, this is a used system off of a 1972 truck. The heat and fan did work, but the A/C did not blow cold. The system did not have any freon in it when I took it apart. It looks like a mess, but I tried to leave as many lines connected as possible to make it easier for someone to reinstall.

This is a complete system and I would think it would have some value to someone who would want to convert to a factory style A/C in their truck. I would like to sell it as a complete system.

Asking $250 + shipping. Thanks - Chad

Small block or big block? You should ask the moderators to move this to the parts section.

It's for a small block.

Your right. I accidentally posted in the wrong forum. How do you get a moderator to move it?

PM KRUE, I'm sure he'll take care of it. Good price and good luck with the sale.

Can you figure shipping to 83854? Also,do you have the rear compressor brackets? Should be a C shaped piece that bolts to the intake manifold and a bar that goes between that bracket and the compressor. If someone wants this set up before I get back to you, sell it. I don't absolutly have to have it but it is a good deal! Thanks!

I can calculate shipping to you, but it may take me a day or two. I have to figure out some reasonable way to pack this all up for shipping and get it weighed. I think I can get the compressor in a flat rate box, which cuts a ton of weight. Now its just the size of the rest of the parts.

I looked at the diagram in the LMC catalog and it looks like it has all of the front brackets and the rear brace, but a little different bracket for the adjuster. I don't know if the PO changed compressors at some point and used a different bracket. I had hoped to have a picture of how the compressor mounted up. I tried to take as many pictures as I could when disassembling the truck, but must have missed the compressor.

Sorry guys, I have been out of town all week and just got back into St. Louis. It looks like OhNoJoe is going to take the AC setup.

If anything changes I'll let you know.

Thanks - Chad
