Electric choke carb options for an inline 6?

I want to put an electric choke carb on my 292, but not sure what vehicle has an electric choke 1-barrell carb that will work. I emailed Holley and they told me I have no options, but I don't believe that. Anyone done this or know what will interchange?

Thanks!

Re: Electric choke carb options for an inline 6?

all of the 250's and 292's that i have seen out of the 70's or 80's have a electric choke monojet one barrel. or you can do what i did and do a intake upgrade to a clifford water heated intake and a holley 390 or edelbrock 500 4 barrel with electric choke. but thats only possible as long as you dont have a integral head. the head and intake have to be seperate. what did your truck have originally?

It has the factory '67 292 in it still with the non-integrated head. I may upgrade to at least a 2 barrel carb in the future, just wanted to get it through emissions for now though. maybe I should just rebuild the stock carb since I don't really need the electric choke in the summer and then upgrade in the winter...

Decisions...Decisions....
