nice 2wd at a local show.
Tonight I drove my blazer down to a local show to look around and found this. I talked to the guy and he just moved here from my old home town in Washington..small world. I like how he removed the top part of the door and smoothed the front window.

Re: nice 2wd at a local show.
Nice blazer for sure! But I have a question. Does it sit a little weird to you guys? Maybe lower in the rear? Or are the wheels not set up right? I can't put my finger on it, but it just looks strange. Maybe it's just the pics or something.

Re: nice 2wd at a local show.
The chopped doors might also be thowing you off from the normal look. Most likely its the combination of light reflection and the curved down body line in the back.

Re: nice 2wd at a local show.
I see what you mean. When I study the picture, the bottom of the truck seems to run parallel with the ground. However, the lines in the bed seem to give it an optical illusion of tilting back.
Nevertheless, a super nice truck that was designed to never have engine problems...because it'd be a pain to work on it with that reverse hood

Very nice truck. Where in Washington is he from?
I think what you're seeing is the lighting on the body line in the photo making it look like it sags in the back.

Re: nice 2wd at a local show.
Maybe, but it looks like that on both sides, and the lighting is hitting it different. It does look more pronounced on the DS though, so maybe you're right.

Re: nice 2wd at a local show.
Thats a sweet blazer..
The body line on the blazers do run downhill in the back...thats why i set mine up with a little rake. I dont like the look of the setting level. |
