Its gone for now
I just got back from dropping the 67 and the 71 off at the body shop. So I quess project inbreed can begin. This will be a merger of a 71 GMC and 67 Chevy and we will see whos DNA is stronger as the process continues. My bet is on 4 lights right now but it may change. The truck will be recieving a 350/350 transplant and the 292 will have to find another project. Vintage Air will also be installed along with rally wheels and the billit plate for cut dashes. I have a few more suprises ready for when she is done. Timeline on this is 45-60 days.
Wouldn't you know its been gone for 1 hour and now I need to go on a Home Depot run and have to ask to borrow a truck ain't life funny |

Re: Its gone for now
Sounds like it's going to be a good cross. If I was a little closer I would be dealin' with you on the 292. I've been wanting to build one and trick it out a little....

Re: Its gone for now
Same here LockDoc, been looking for one of those as a side-project. All the ones I find for sale are usually mid-west or east coast. Shipping would cost more than the engine!
And glad to here that your red headed step child inbreeding can begin! I think the 4-light front end will look good. Everyone in their brother does the '67 Chevy front end.
