Hi! I'm Cody, New and full of questions.

Hey guys I recently bought a 72 lwb. 350/350. Very little rust. It has all been weld patched and was done fairly well. I'm getting the old quadrajet rebuilt right now. This thing is a low budget build deal but I will be daily driving this on a daily basis about 5 miles to work. Oh yeah, I sold my 02 Z71 avalanche for this thing, haha This will be a nice truck once it's all put back together. I think the PO thought he'd restart the restore by taking anything off he could with a phillips head.

As soon as I get the truck back I'll post some pictures-promised

Make me feel like an idiot, I don't care as long as I'm learning.

Well Cody, from the Corn State. Sounds like you have a truck & a plan. Now you have a bottomless pit of information..... There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here so if you have any questions post 'em up.. Pictures would be good too.

Cody, from Florida - The Sunshine State (although, it's raining out right now). Like estig70 said, If you don't ask, you'll never know. Enjoy your daily driver and we'll be waiting for pictures.

We have the same name and when I first saw the title of this thread on the first page I paused for a second and was like, "Wait a minute...when did I start this thread?" Sorry, had a brain fart.

BTW Whomever coined the phrase there are no stupid questions didn't teach middle school!!! Literally 4 minutes ago a girl raised her hand and asked "are the gallon jugs of milk that you buy at the store...thats a gallon right?"

My wife went to school (not recently) and in her science class a girl asked, "Why is there air?" That question came from a high schooler. But, you are right about students in general. I haul them to/from our middle school every day....and the junior high kids? They're still on the learning curve, too.

Re: Hi! I'm Cody, New and full of questions.

Thanks guys you all seem real friendly and very knowledgable. As you can see I've been a member since last year when I did a body swap on from a 76 to an 86. I did alot of lurking and searching. I did notice there were a bunch of people from kansas on here.
