Working on New Blazer Patch Panel......
Well I finaly got the Blazer tub dismantled down to the point where I could remove the piece behind the "B" pillar that everyone has been asking about. I had my sheetmetal guy come take a look at it to see if it is something that we could reproduce. He says that he can do it, now it is a wait and see what it looks like when done. Oh ya, and how much they will cost me. It will be another Classic Heartbeat exclusive part, just like the rocker box reinforcement pieces and the Blazer rear floor supports. I should have pictures of the finnished parts in the next couple of weaks. The samples we have to copy were pretty rusty, but complete enough to reproduce. WES

YEAH that's what I'm talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm in the process of trying to make one for my pass. side. It'll take me at least two weeks. So I'm anxiously waiting with high hopes for yours to come out and what the price will be.

Re: Working on New Blazer Patch Panel......
I am sure that they could be made from stainless, but the price might be through the roof.. The will be on the expencive side anyway, because he won't be able to just do it on a break machine. Lots of welding will be involved. We can save some money by not welding the nuts in place, but that depends on what you guys want. WES

Re: Working on New Blazer Patch Panel......
Depending on the demand, we are considering new Blazer Tailpans also. WES

Re: Working on New Blazer Patch Panel......
I want to replace my Blazer quarter with a SWB fleet bed panel but my pillar has rust too at the bottom, so this new piece will help, but what about the pillar itself, should I just buy a rust free tub (I am in AZ so it isn't too hard, but hate to wreck a whole tub for the quarters)?

Re: Working on New Blazer Patch Panel......
There are not any patch panels to fix the whole pillar. The rust at the bottom is a pretty easy fix where the pillar meets the floor. A couple of pieces of metal bent in a vice should do it. However if it is realy bad a rust free bedside might just be the ticket. WES

Re: Working on New Blazer Patch Panel......
The only exclusive parts that I have reproduced here in the states are the Blazer Rocker Box Reinforcement, Right and left outer 8" of the cargo to passinger floor step down area, and Blazer rear Floor Support. I sent in the Blazer Rocker Boxes, Rocker Box end caps, and Blazer front lower quarters to be reproduced in Taiwan. Those parts were to difficult to reproduce and do it cheaply in the states. Here are links to where they are in our website:

Re: Working on New Blazer Patch Panel......
Hey Wes, any chance you could put up one post with all the pieces you've had made for blazers and a pic of where these pieces are on a blazer? I want to be prepared for when my bodyman starts to tear mine apart so he doesn't have to make his own panels. Thanks
