Re: Post your dashes & guage clusters
I used Auto Meter sport comps and they fit tight in the existing holes! (I know this pic isn't the greatest but it's all I have on this computer)

Re: Post your dashes & guage clusters
Mine is factory tach with a added speed warning buzzer. I also added the clock out of a later 70's truck.

Re: Post your dashes & guage clusters
The first is the cluster in my ramp truck. The bezel has been painted with balck polyurethane and had a Cheyenne Super woodgrain decal with white overlays. I used the white decals on the faces and on the tins (instead of painting the tins white) and sanded the letters and numbers off of the factory lens, and polished it out clear. I didn't care for the greenish looking letters against the white. Its a little different looking than most.
The second is the cluster that is going in my '67 C-30. It has a vacuum gauge a 4000 RPM diesel tach. I am going to put a woodgrain decal on it also, but I'm going to paint it with textured bedliner paint like I did on the glove box lid of my '69 C-10. Really different!

Re: Post your dashes & guage clusters
Engine-turned is "nothing special"?
This is a look I want, too. I have a nephew who did some engine turning for his '79 T/A dash. The look you got is what I hope to have. Maybe the same thing as an applique on the glove box door, too. I'll be using Mahanians' radio surround and I'm thinking it'll all look good when (ever) I'm done.

nice. I've got some blue vinyl with that type of design (fresnel lense). I'll have to see if that's work....
