I'm considering buying one and looking for opinions on it. Was it worth the expense? Would you do it all over again?

That's the one I'd like but it's 3x's the price of a soft cover and I'm having a hard time justifying the expense. If I can get someone local to go in on a second one, we'd get $30 off each. Plus they offer a military discount as well. Any locals interested?

I am seriously looking at the Revolution Soft Cover from Extang. Thay have one for our trucks. Prices seem to be about $300 which includes shipping. Just do a web search. Good Luck

I've had several...low profile...light weight...you will get water in the bed though, but not much...just doesn't seal like an over-the-rail cover...some don't like the unfinished fiberglass look on the top side...doesn't bother me though.

hmmmmm, I could possibly make my own out of an 8x10 sheet of plywood and aluminum L shaped channel and cover it with vinyl for a lot less I'm thinking....

Brad, I'm about to order one! I'd be willing to work with you on the order two at once.

My only problem is actually getting it (assuming you have to have them shipped to the same location) Since my truck isn't running, I don't really have a good way to transport it from the fed ex place to my house.

When I talked to the sales lady she said I'd need to measure my bed to ensure it fits right. And I'd have to order the "classic" one which is more.....I didn't ask why...but thought I'd let you know what I found out.

i have done both!. i have built my own & i have also bought the one you are looking at (except for a s-10). i would go for the checker one if i was to do it all over again. my homebuilt one was good, but not as good as the checker one. the fit on the checker one was pretty good thought it dose not seal up like mentioned above. mine was gel coat white & so i just bought a spray can that pretty much matched my white s-10 & sprayed it my self. had a friend help me install it & when it was all said & done i was very happy with the fit & finish. i had no complaints. it was on there for atleast two years before i sold the truck. just my thoughts.....

Mine will be garaged kept and primarily only be driven in nice weather, so I'm not too concerned about water.
