Oil Pressure Gauge Q

I have a good oil pressure gauge for my '72 Sub that says 60lbs on it. Did they make a higher pressure rated gauge?? I have a feeling that my Cummins is going to make more than 60lbs of oil pressure. I know in the 73+ they had 80lb units, but I don't know if they made them earlier. If not, has anyone run into problems running their oil pressure gauge pegged for extended periods of time??

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Q

if you were to get a guage out of a 67 - 72 C/40 and bigger... they are 80 psi.

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Q

if you need an air pressure guage, then sweet! (i dunno what you'd hook it to though)
Heck, if it goes cheap enough, then you could just swap out the oil guage on that panel, then sell the whole thing on e-bay again!
