I am having problems with shipper.R&S Trucking (Russel Sternal).He picked up my 1972 Blazer 2wd chassis in NY and took it to his shop in NE Illinois. Instead of delivering to me.Anyone from around there.

Called Cook Co. Sheriff Dept. NO help at all. Told me to report it stolen @ local police station.Internet crime said to call U-Sip ,which I did before calling them.I'm lost and have no idea what to do!!!!Plan on driving out there to get it but have no address?Thanks Yukon.If anyone is from the area and has heard of Russell Sternal/R.S. Trucking & Contracting or knows where his shop is would be great.All I have are cell #'s.No help when he wont answer.

I haul cars for GM out of Detroit, I'm in Chicagoland, usually twice a week. If you could find the address, I might be able to go out of route and see his property or your frame. I wouldn't be able to get haul it for you though, the UNION would have a $hit-fit.

Found his home address 414 Ferndale Drive Round Lake Beach,IL 60073-2517 his son said it was at HIS shop in Chicago,IL

Thanks ,He told U-Ship he would have it to me in a week or two.I will go get it if he's not here in two weeks .I don't want to drive that far .Did tell him I would meet half way,but after checking prices for car trailer(U-Haul)$444.00 one way.I rented them for local rates before for a couple day's $50.00 day. It's cheaper to haul it out and back than one way.So I will wait a couple weeks .Thanks again

Yea it really motivates people when the sherrif knocks on their door, but I think with the property sitting in the driveway the guy should have gone to jail.

He was not at the house(ex wife's)He was missing!!!!!She was going to deliver the chassis for me,because one of there drivers left her truck in Dutton,MT .I told her I would pay the $315.00 balance when chassis arrived and I didn't want her covering for her ex,She said" I have to come to Montana anyway to get my truck".The next day Russell calls and says he's bringing it at end of month.The detective was very helpful,but he never did get to talk to Russell.He was out at the house last week,and called me to tell me chassis is still there.That's when his ex wife emailed me to explain things,then I felt sorry for her!!!!Planed on going to get it but,hard to leave town when I still have lawns to mow.Next week is the end of month,I hope/pray it shows up.When I first called Round Lake PD they told me I had to report chassis stolen at local PD.I emailed Internet Crime and they had a Round Lake PD detective show up 2 days later.Thank you all for info and help,Scott Mikel
