unistalled lowered spring height?
anybody know the uninstalled height of a lowering spring. i realize that it may vary, but i'm looking for a quesstimate. thanks. search no helpie.

We've got some 3" drop springs over at my buddys. If he doesn't have them sealed up in a box I'll try to measure them for you this afternoon.

I just happened to have a set of good stockers in the floor and a set of 4" drops for comparison. The stockers measured 13.25 and the McGaughy's 4" drop ones measured 9.25". I knew they were supposed to be a 4" drop installed, but I was surprised they were exactly 4" different on the floor.

my brand new stock height BB front springs are 12.75 inches...

I just re read and it doesn't look like you said front or rear? The measurements I put are for rears.
