68 column fit in a 65?

i have a three speed on the column in my 65 that is really sloppy, i recently found a guy thats parting out at bone stock 68 that has a really tight 3 speed column in it. does anyone know if they are interchangeable?

yes they will , pretty much the same column, the wiring is the hard part-thats where im having trouble
